About the event

We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by 15 year old pianist Harry Bowden in our next recital in the C. Bechstein Centre Manchester recital series!

Tickets for this recital are completely FREE and all guests will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly/non-alcoholic alternative. Tickets are limited, so if you would like to attend please call us on 0161 527 7677 or email info@bechstein.co.uk to secure your seat.

Likewise, if you are unable to make the event after booking, please call or email to let us know so we can offer your seat to another guest. For those who cannot attend in person, we will also live stream the event via our YouTube channel, a link will be provided nearer the time.

- John Ogdon - Five preludes

- Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji - 'In the hothouse'

- W. Mozart- Sonata in C major, K330

- Olivier Messiaen - Regard de la vierge

- Franz Liszt - Sonetto del Petrarca 104

- Feruccio Busoni - Kammer-Fantasie über Carmen (sonatina no.6)

About Harry Bowden

Harry  began playing the piano and composing age 6 years old and is currently studying with pianist Les Chisnall. Now at 15 years old, he has developed a passion for all genres of music in particular, the music of the twentieth century, including composers such as Alexander Scriabin, Olivier Messiaen and Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji.

During the last two years he has won 1st prizes in both the XXV111 Chopin Festival in Mazovia and 2021 international piano competition ‘Citta di Arona’
