Rose was born in 2002 in Cheshire and comes from a family of musicians. Starting initially as a Chorister at Manchester Cathedral and having piano lessons with her father, Murray, she then went on to study piano with Helen Krizos at Chetham’s School of Music.
Highlights include performing Shostakovich 2nd piano concerto with BBC Concert Orchestra and Barry Wordsworth, which was later broadcast twice on BBCR3.
Rose has already had considerable success in numerous national and international competitions. Most recently in February 2022, she was the winner of the Kirklees Young Musician of the Year.
She now studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and is generously supported by the Waverley Fund.
