Piano Practice

We offer piano lessons for all ages and abilities, whether you are learning for fun or for graded examinations, we can help you reach your goals!  

How it works


All lessons will be on a C. Bechstein grand piano and are available at the following rates: £25 for 30-minute lesson or £48 for a 60-minute lesson and are booked in blocks of five. If you would like a trial lesson, you can book a one off at the same rates as above. All lessons will take place at the C. Bechstein Centre on Tib Street or via video call. There will be no home lessons available.



Payment in advance via credit/debit card or bank transfer.


Waiting Area

Before the lesson, please wait in the waiting area provided, not in the showroom.

Wi-Fi, Tea, Coffee

Complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee provided. Wi-Fi quality is not guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 48 hours' notice to postpone a lesson which will be rescheduled at a convenient date. Cancellations under 48 hours’ notice will not be rescheduled or refunded.


If you wish to practice before your lesson, please book a practice studio which will be charged at the normal rate. See Practice Studios for more details (insert link here). No practice or warm-up is allowed in the showroom.

Rose was born in 2002 in Cheshire and comes from a family of musicians. Starting initially as a Chorister at Manchester Cathedral and having piano lessons with her father, Murray, she then went on to study piano with Helen Krizos at Chetham’s School of Music.

Highlights include performing Shostakovich 2nd piano concerto with BBC Concert Orchestra and Barry Wordsworth, which was later broadcast twice on BBCR3. Rose has already had considerable success in numerous national and international competitions. Most recently in February 2022, she was the winner of the Kirklees Young Musician of the Year. She now studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and is generously supported by the Waverley Fund.
