Practice & Teaching Studios
Manchester's finest piano practise and teaching spaces, bookable online by the hour
Here at the C. Bechstein Centre we have six purpose built, sound insulated practice and teaching studios available to hire. All our studios have either a C. Bechstein grand or upright piano and are bookable online by the hour.
Please read studio rules below before booking.

Early Bird Discount
All practice studios will be at a reduced rate
from Tuesday to Friday, 10am until 12pm
for the whole of May.
Practice Studio Rules
Bookings
Bookings are hourly and start on the hour. Bookings are made online only.

Card payment only
Credit or debit card details will be required to secure the booking.
If you overrun your time, your card will be debited for an additional full hour.

Payment &
cancellation policy
Payment will be taken at the time of booking. You may cancel or change your booking until 48 hours before your slot. Refunds take 5 –10 days to appear on a customer's statement. Stripe's fees for the original payment won't be returned, but there are no additional fees for the refund. You will be charged the full cost of the booking if you cancel within 48 hours before your slot. If you don't show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the cancellation fee.

Groups
Group bookings of four or more people must book studio 5.
•
Music stands
We have a small number of music stands available. We cannot guarantee availability, so please bring your own if necessary.

Amplification, Percussion
Amplification or percussion instruments are not permitted.
•
Waiting area
Please wait in the waiting area or kitchen space, not in the showroom. Warming up/playing in the showroom is not permitted.
•
Wi-Fi, tea, coffee
Complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee provided. Wi-Fi quality is not guaranteed.
Drinks are permitted in the rooms, please use the tables provided

Auditions
Please book a warm-up room if required. No warm-up elsewhere.
You must provide your own steward.

Lost Property
Lost property will be held for one month only before disposal.
