Riccardo is a 15-year-old pianist and lives in Manchester. Gifted with and innate musicality, Riccardo started his musical journey at young age, and he is currently studying piano under Dr. Murray McLachlan at the JuniorRNCM (Royal Northern College of Music) where he also studies organ, composition and orchestral conducting. Despite his young age, Riccardo has already performed in several notable Concert Halls both in the United Kingdom and abroad, e.g the Musikverein in Wien; the Koncertowa Hall in Tarnow and in the Żelazowa Wola Concert Hall (Chopin’s birthplace), Poland; the Carnegie Hall in New York; the Royal Albert Hall and the Steinway Hall UK in London; the Sala Baldini and Teatro Marcello in Rome, the RNCM Concert Hall in Manchester etc.

Between 2018 and 2023, Riccardo has been the first-prize winner of many National (UK) and International Music Competitions, including several 1st Prizes for his outstanding Chopin and Debussy's interpretations. Most recently, he has been awarded 1st Prize in both the Mazurka and Nocturne Category at the London international Chopin Competition (March 2023) as well as receiving the “Gold Hands Prize” at the “Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition” where he was also winner of 3 “Best Composer’s Award 2023” for his Chopin, Debussy and 20th-21stCentury performances (July 2023).

In addition to this, Riccardo has also recently marked his debut with the Orchestra when - with only 10 days’ notice- he prepared Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No.1 and performed it with St John’s Festival Orchestra in Chester, conducted by Philip Sharp (June 2023).

Riccardo enjoys all aspects of music, including composition. In fact, not long ago (May 2023), Riccardo’s Composition: “Running Away”, was selected to be performed for the “Junior RNCM New Music Day” along with other newly composed music.
